Change Google Chrome Theme

If you are not satisfied with the default blue theme of Google Chrome, there is a way you can change it manually. You can download a few list of custom Chrome themes from freechromethemes. Here are a few steps to change the default Chrome theme. Don’t forget to close Chrome before you do these steps.
- Download any custom themes from freechromethemes and extract it. Then you will get default.dll file.
- Go to C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application.2.149.27\Themes\ and you will see default.dll file. Change the name default.dll to any other name (this is to back up your default theme).
- Copy the default.dll file that you downloaded, and paste it into chrome’s themes folder (which is the same folder in step 2). Done!
If you want the default theme again, go to Chrome’s theme folder, delete default.dll and rename old default file name as default.dll.
And I believe that Google will add theme switcher feature.
Google Chrome ရဲ႕အျပာေရာင္ default theme ကိုမႀကိဳက္ေသးဘူးဆိုရင္ ေျပာင္းၾကည့္လို႔ရပါတယ္။ freechromethemes ဆိုတဲ့ site မွာ Google Chrome အတြက္ custom theme ေတြကို download လုပ္လို႔ရပါတယ္။ ဘယ္လိုေျပာင္းရမလဲဆိုတာ ေအာက္မွာ အဆင့္သံုးဆင့္ခြဲၿပီး ျပထားပါတယ္။ အရင္ဆံုး Google Chrome ကိုပိတ္ဖို႔ေတာ့ မေမ့ပါနဲ႔။
- freechromethemes ကေန ကိုယ္ႀကိဳက္တဲ့ theme ကို download လုပ္ၿပီးႀကိဳက္တဲ့ေနရာမွာ extract လုပ္လိုက္ပါ။ ဒါဆုိရင္ default.dll ဆိုတဲ့ဖိုင္တစ္ခုေတြ႔ပါလိမ့္မယ္။
- C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application.2.149.27\Themes\ ဆိုတဲ့ folder ေအာက္ကိုသြားၿပီး default.dll ဖိုင္ကို တျခားနာမည္တစ္ခု ေျပာင္းေပးလိုက္ပါ။ ဘာလို႔လဲဆိုေတာ့ သူ႔ရဲ႕ default theme ကိုျပန္လိုခ်င္ရင္ လြယ္ေအာင္လို႔ back up လုပ္ထားတဲ့ သေဘာပါ။
- ၿပီးရင္ download လုပ္ထားတဲ့ default.dll ဆိုတဲ့ ဖိုင္ကိုကူးၿပီး အဆင့္ ၂ မွာတုန္းကလုပ္ခဲ့တဲ့ folder ထဲကို paste လုပ္လိုက္ပါ။ ဒါဆိုရင္ ေျပာင္းသြားပါၿပီ။
default theme ကိုျပန္လုိခ်င္တယ္ဆိုရင္ေတာ့ ခုနကူးထည့္လိုက္တဲ့ default.dll ဆိုတဲ့ဖိုင္ကို ျပန္ဖ်က္ၿပီး file name ေျပာင္းထားတဲ့ သူ႔ရဲ႕မူလဖုိင္ကို default.dll ဆုိၿပီး ျပန္ေျပာင္းေပးလိုက္ပါ။
