FormatFactory is a free media converter as well as a DVD ripper. It supports a large number of file formats that can be converted. You can convert all popular audio, video, picture and even mobile devices format such as iPhone or PSP. It allows you to zoom, rotate or flip the image before you convert these. The interface is very simple and straight forward. It has 4 default skins that you can choose and also supports 30 different languages. FormatFactory is only for Windows.

Filsh.net allows you to convert video clips before you download them. The site looks very neat and simple. And it is very easy to convert the clips to another formats. Just copy your target URL, paste it into Video-link field and Choose your desired formats from option. You can convert the video into MPG, AVI, WMV, FLV, MP3 and some other formats. It supports multiple sites including YouTube, Google Video, Metacafe and MyspaceTV.
The site is in German Language and you might need to translate some of those words.
