Executor works almost the same as Launchy but it gives planty of customization options. It has some great features like you can assign your own keywords to turn off your monitor, open a website or lunch an application. The another impressive feature is that you can assign hotkeys for those keywords so that you can just hit the hotkey to open a program or website without bringing up the Executor.

Internet Explorer always give me headache when I am creating a website. Sometime, it looks good in IE7 but it is terrible in IE 6 or other versions. This IETester is a free tool that can help to check the websites in different IE browsers. It is just a browser that doesn’t have many features but enough for testing. It is Windows only (XP and Vista) and required IE7 to work properly.

Unlike Launchy, Enso use Caps Lock key to activate. Here, I was wondering how can I type Caps Letter when I am writing a letter. But after I have tried this application, I realized that it is not a problem. Caps Lock is the key that people use it very seldom. And if you really need to use, Enso allows to turn on Caps Lock key.

However, you need to know the supported command list to use all features. If you want to find out more, I suggest you to watch their demo. A tech blog, cybernetnews, says that it is better than Launchy in many aspects.

My Lockbox is totally free and easy to use. You can lock or unlock the folder just one click. For most hiding utilities, the hidden file can be easily discovered if you boot into Safe Mode.

But using My Lockbox, the hidden folder can be protected even in Safe Mode. Take note that you have to check “protect in safe mode” in setting.  You can use a keyboard shortcut key to invoke and Ctr+Shift+P is default. It will be in your windows startup list unless you remove it from the list.

Though it is not a full encryption solution, it can be a good utility if you just want to hide a folder from your friends or family. (Note: For windows only)
